This privacy policy applies to the HolyHome application and website at holyhome.io, operated by Zobel Solutions LLC("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of your family, especially your children.

Our promise:HolyHome is built for families with children. We take children's privacy extremely seriously. We are COPPA compliant, we never show ads, and we never sell your data to anyone, for any reason.

Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you create an account and use HolyHome:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never store your actual password)
  • Family information: Your family name and optional parish connection
  • Children's information: First names and birthdates of your children (used to calculate age groups for age-appropriate content)
  • Usage data: Which prayers, daily cards, and features you use (to personalize your experience)
  • Ask HolyHome conversations: Questions you ask our AI assistant (stored to maintain conversation history)
  • Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your credit card number

For the marketing website and waitlist, we collect only your email address and optional name.

We use your information solely to provide and improve the HolyHome experience for your family.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

HolyHome is designed for parents to use with their children. We take children's privacy very seriously:

COPPA compliant:We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All children's data is provided and controlled by their parents.

AI-Generated Content

HolyHome uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) in two ways:

  • Pre-generated content: Daily Faith Cards, prayer explanations, and other content are generated by AI and reviewed by humans for doctrinal accuracy before being published. This content is stored in our database and served to all users — no personal data is involved.
  • Ask HolyHome (premium):When you ask a question, we send your message along with your children's first names and ages to generate a personalized, age-appropriate response. We do not send your email, last name, location, or any other identifying information to the AI.
AI transparency: All AI-generated responses in Ask HolyHome are labeled as AI-assisted. We encourage users to consult their pastor or the Catechism for definitive Church teaching.

Your Rights

  • Edit: Update your family information, children, or account details at any time
  • Delete: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — we will permanently delete everything within 30 days
  • Export: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. For material changes, we will notify you via email.
